The photographs of Jerry Uelsmann are
exquisite, unique and always recognizable. He has become the master of
modern photo montage, often combining as many as eight images into a
single print, all done in the darkroom with original negatives.
Eight Photographs, published in 1970 (first edition), is a
portfolio comprised of eight high quality prints of Uelsmann images on 11 x 14 stock and bound loose in a stiff paper
slipcase. The folio also contains an essay on the project by
William E. Parker. The entire portfolio is in excellent condition.
Shown above are two of the eight images.
