"Medicine and mineral pigments are ground in small stone mortars
by means of a water-worn pebble."

This is an original Curtis gravure printed in 1925 on Holland VanGelder paper.  It is not a restrike or reproduction.  The image is framed in a natural wood frame and is not attached to any back boards with glues or adhesives of any kind.  This is a very desirable and rare Curtis image.  It is in perfect condition.
